Santorum suggests Obama preferable to 'Etch-A-Sketch' Romney

Most people didn't learn that Santorum existed until after Florida. The Brokered Convention is our only hope to get a decent candidate at this point. I will not settle for Mittens or Saint Rick. I want a real candidate. Both of them are incompetent and are frauds, and a victory for either one will mean the end of the GOP and the Tea Party as we know it. We dodged a bullet, in truth, when McCain lost. If he had won, there would have been no Tea Party, and schmucks like Santorum would be running for the Senate telling us that the deficit and the size of government aren't really that big of deal during war time (he's said that before). We lost a lot with Obama, but we've awoken a sleeping giant. This giant will go back to sleep if these dweebs win, and all of our gains during the Obama administration would be lost.

We have a choice of four- the four that have been on the trail and are still standing. If, by any chance, the PUBS in their quest for defeat, choose someone other than one of the four, I will wash my hands of the silly sonsabitches and find another party. I am not overly enamored with the silly bastards as it is, but that would be the creme-de-le-creme.

Santorum: Twice baked, done and done.
Geengrich: a one state wonder.
RP: It was over before it ever began.
Romney: America's one and only lifeboat, albeit flawed and leaking badly and drifting in every direction - but it's all we have left.

America has been treading water for three years now, the Marxist sharks are circiling all around smelling blood in the water as we have been cannibolizing each other for months now in the debates.

It's time to climb aboard the USS Romney and be thankful there is at least hope, not fake hope but real hope, for a brighter tomorrow.

Romney is like a bullet in the head. Suicide is the coward's way out. I will go third party, even voting for Paul, over that degenerate Romney. If the country wants to commit suicide, let them do so! If Romney wins, it is clear that God has decided to bring judgment on the country. A Romney nomination does not bode well for our future. It's time to start stocking up on food and ammunition if you haven't already. Go and sink with the USS Romney, I'll stay in Texas.

I'm convinced we are never never gonna get a perfect conservative candidate that passes our litmus test.
There is always gonna be something we disagree with our candidates on.

I've accepted that now.
Romney has my support now, Newt's only chance is if Romney dropped out and endorsed him but thats not gonna happen.

I far prefer Gingrich to Romney, but that's beside the point at the moment.

This whole 'Etch-A-Sketch' moment, and Santorum's reaction to it are much ado about nothing.
All Romney meant by his comment is that, come time for the general election, it's time to switch gears, and run a different kind of campaign.
All Santorum meant by his comment is that there's so little contrast between Obama and Romney that it'd make very little difference who was president.

None of which is to imply that I necessarily agree with either of them. Only that the reaction to either comment is making a mountain out of a molehill.

If you ask me, the both of them have run their political careers w/an Etch-A-Sketch approach, erasing everything they said and did before because they didn't mean a single word of it.
