waggingfinger Cancel your subscription to Better Homes Gardens

BHG sells out to become a propaganda shill for the regime!

Better Homes and Gardens will feature First Lady Michelle Obama on the cover of its August issue - the first public figure to grace the magazine's cover in 48 years.

Obama will be the focus of an article on healthful eating for children. The issue will hit newsstands July 19.

Editors from the magazine, which is owned by Des Moines-based Meredith Corp., and the first lady co-hosted a picnic in May for D.C. fifth-graders. The magazine features photos of the picnic and an interview with Obama about her efforts to promote healthful habits. . . . .

Should I subscribe so that I can cancel it?

Consider the the elegant FLOTUSs BH&G did not have on its cover: Jackie Kennedy; Lady Bird Johnson; Pat Nixon; Nancy Reagan; Barbara Bush; Laura Bush.

BTW, I didn't forget those I omitted, they just didn't belong or were not going through their best years (i.e. Betty Ford).

I detest those magazines such as BH&G. Parent, and such. They always seem leftist and portray 'perfect' families. Rarely do you find an article on parenting special needs.

They looks good on the coffee table when your mother-in-law visits but other than that, nah. Great for people who enjoy reading ads.

I'd rather subscribe to National Review, Weekly Standard, etc. Dave and Dylan have their NASCAR and train magazines. Much more interesting than BH&G!!!

On the flip side you could buy the Moochelle issue and use it for toilet paper and then mail it in to them with a letter. Wait what?

We only subscribe to gun-related magazines. I wouldn't touch a "women" magazine with a 10 ft pole.

Nope. I can't even relate to the people in them.

Good heavens! That pic looks fauxto-shopped - the angle of her head in relationship to her neck doesn't look right!

And what does she know of homes or gardens? How to order servants around? And does anyone believe she reads BH&G rather than victimhood culture and/or hip-hop publications? BH&G and its ilk may be liberal, but they're probably too "white" for her tastes.
